Conair GS10 Travel Clothes Steamer

Conair GS10 is the biggest portable deluxe fabric steamer, but also the most powerful.

You know it's the one you'd use when you need to steam a whole wardrobe for your big family to get them ready for some big event. Or it can be used on drapes and other household items which need to be steamed and rid of wrinkles. The high-velocity jets (on the 6 inch head) is there exactly for that purpose.

This steamer can definitely outlast all the other ones we've mentioned before, like Conair GS5,GS16 and Jiffy portable clothes steamer. It's removable tank holds enough water to last for 75 minutes of steaming time. The time it takes to get it to boil is only one minute, considering it's 1300 watts of power.

The telescopic rod which can get as high as 65 inches can be used to hang garments and drapes. Storage has a wand-holder for storage and the 65 inch rod is removable. This model also includes a removable 5-foot hose, so you can hang your garment on one of the hangers that are also included and fully steam it from top to bottom, and even inside-out. This model is also extremely easy to roll around as it has little wheels on the bottom, so you can go from one clothes rank to another without having to drag this 19-pound machine across the room.

The automatic shut-off mechanism turns the steamer off when it runs dry. This unit is perfect for when you have ironing clothes and refuse to include dry cleaning into your monthly budget. The ups of steaming include conditioning fibers, instead of drying them out. Steaming aldo doesn't leave the "iron" shine which some fabrics get after ironing.

Here are some tips for using this steamer to the best of its ability:

1. Use distilled water when steaming and avoid using regular tap water because particles and minerals in the tap water will eventually clog up the nitty-gritty in the steamer up, however distilled water will make it run longer and is very affordable too.

2. Cool down the fabric before putting it out to the closer or wearing it.

This steamer weighs 19 pounds and isn't really made for traveling. However you can pack it up and ship it along with you if you're traveling to a fashion show.

The price of this model can range from $45 to $80. The brand new CS10 will cost you $80 while a used one can cost from $45. It's always good to be careful when buying a used model because it can have leaks and fissures in the tube which can lead to dripping hot water on your hands while you're steaming your garments with this steamer.
